OXFORD TOWNSHIP
LAND USE BOARD MEETING
JUNE 12, 2006
Chairman D. Niece called the
meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
ADEQUATE NOTICE was given as
follows: Notice was sent to the Star
Gazette and Express Times. Notice was posted on the
Municipal bulletin
Board in the Township Administration building in
Oxford Township,
New Jersey, and notice was filed with the Township
Clerk.
ROLL CALL:
Members Present: Mayor Accetturo, Mr. Niece, Dr.
Yeager, Ms. Smorzaniuk,
Mr. Cratch, Ms. Accetturo, Mr. Calabrese, Mr.
Ischinger, Mr. Dresser
Also Present: Attorney M. Garofalo, Engineer N.
Duveneck
COMMUNICATIONS: A list was
provided to the Land Use Board members.
MINUTES: Minutes from the May 8,
2006 meeting.
A motion to approve the minutes as written was made
by Ms. Smorzaniuk
seconded by Mr. Cratch all ayes, motion carried. Mr.
Lazorisak abstained.
ZONING OFFICER=S REPORT: May
Zoning report.
The zoning officer submitted his report for May
2006.
Six permits were issued, zero were denied, multiple
calls and questions.
RESOLUTIONS:
1. Margaret C. Bray – Resolution for a Minor Site
Plan application for Block
6,
Lot 1 located at 47-A Wall Street. The application
received approval on May
8, 2006. A motion to approve the resolution with
changes was made by
Dr. Yeager, seconded by Ms. Smorzaniuk, Vote:
Yeager, Smorzaniuk,
Dresser, Calabrese, Niece, Cratch, Ms. Accetturo,
Ischinger – Ayes,
0 – Nay, 0 – Abstain, motion carried.
2. Ms. Carol Griffett – Resolution
for a Site Plan waiver application for a
coffee shop and bakery for Block 6, Lot 3 located at
39 Wall Street. The
application
received approval on May 8, 2006. A motion to
approve the resolution was
made by Mr. Dresser, seconded by Mr. Calabrese,
Vote: Dresser, Calabrese,
Niece, Yeager, Cratch, Smorzaniuk, Ms. Accetturo,
Ischinger – Ayes, 0 –
Nay, 0 – Abstain, motion carried.

DISCUSSION ITEM:
1. Oxford Township School District’s 2005 Long range
facilities report
review presented by Mr. Pierro of Oxford Township
School. Attorney
M. Garofalo stated the school board must consider
recommendations
from the board but nothing binding, the land use
board unaminously
agreed a motion was made by Ms. Smorzaniuk, seconded
by Dr. Yeager,
all ayes motion carried.
PUBLIC COMMENT: No public comment
was offered.
MAYOR’S REPORT: Mayor Accetturo
briefly reviewed the following subjects:
* First Aid Squad
* PRUMA settlement
* Grants
* Ox-Tech
* State Police coverage
VOUCHERS: A motion to approve
vouchers submitted for payment was made
by Dr. Yeager, seconded by Ms. Smorzaniuk, all ayes,
motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT: 8:05 p.m.
With no further business before the Board and no
public comment offered the
meeting was adjourned.
