Oxford Township Committee Meeting Synopsis for meeting held April 16, 2003

At the April 16, 2003 meeting of the Mayor and Committee of the Township of Oxford,

Ordinance #2003-3 was passed on a second reading and adopted.

The Township Committee discussed the upcoming rules and regulations of the Stormwater Management Act as well as the proposed Big Map.

The contract for the sewer extension for Route 31 was discussed and bid was awarded to RJR and should they withdraw their bid, the contract would be awarded to Montana Construction as the 2nd lowest bidder on the project.

The Township Committee made a donation of a 2003 Oxford Lake family pass to the TLC Committee.

The Committee discussed the Organic Aggregate project, and the discussion is to be continued at the May 2003 meeting.

Ordinance #2003-4 amending the fee schedule for subdivisions was passed on first reading.  Second reading, public hearing of Ordinance #2003-4 will be held on May 21, 2003 at or near 7:30PM.

The Mayor declared May 1, 2003 National Day of Prayer in Oxford

The Engineer was authorized to apply for the 2004 DOT grant.

The committee approved the fee schedule for the 2003 season at Oxford Furnace Lake and approved the hiring of the staff for 2003 at Oxford Furnace Lake.
