Oxford Township Committee Meeting Synopsis for meeting held June 18, 2003

At the June 18, 2003 meeting of the Mayor and Committee of the Township of Oxford, Ordinance #2003-05 setting the sewer charge rate for 2003 was passed on the first reading.  Second reading, public hearing will be held on July 16, 2003 at or near 7:30 PM in the Township Municipal Building, 11 Green St., Oxford, NJ 07863

Discussion and action on the proposal from Organic Aggregates was postponed to the July 16, 2003 meeting.

It was discussed that Oxford Textile is closing it's doors and ceasing operation on June 30, 2003.

The committee signed an amended agreement with Coachlight Partners. Also a resolution was passed to submit an application to the Warren County Charitable Conservancy and Trust Fund Open Space Grant.

The Committee also submitted an application to NJ Dept. of Environmental Protection-Green Acres grant.

The 2003 tax rate of $3.01 was struck by the Warren County Tax Board.
