Does anyone know when the town is going to set the skating rink up. I know lots of kids interested in the hockey games that went on last year who want to play again now that the weather is getting colder.

I heard that the OYA is going to try to set it up this weekend. They are looking for help, if I hear any more details I will post them.

Now that the rink is up, is anyone going to clean off the snow soon? Seems a shame to go to all the trouble to buy and set up the equipment only to leave it buried under a foot of snow so no one can use it. It'd be great to know when we can start using it.

My daughter and several of her friends went down to the rink yesterday to enjoy some skating and came back terribly disappointed that no one is cleaning the ice for the kids to use. Why has the group responsible for putting the rink up abandoned the project? No wonder no one wants to come to Oxford anymore if this is the way even the locals are treated.
